Some people call them pets. To us, they’re family members who happen to have fur and four legs. That’s what makes the Comfort Suites Kelowna one of the most popular dog friendly hotels in the Okanagan (we love cats, too!).
To make your stay more convenient, we offer a range of suites on the ground floor, making it easier for guests to take their pets outdoors to relieve themselves, get some fresh air or go for a car ride!
Whenever travellers stay at Kelowna pet friendly hotels, they want their fur buddies to feel comfortable. We do our part by providing pets with a welcome bag with treats, waste disposal bags and a guide to local dog parks.
There are a few extra rules and responsibilities that owners need to be aware of when staying at our pet friendly hotels:
- Maximum of two pets per room
- Not all rooms are pet friendly- this must be booked in advance
- There is an additional $25 fee per pet, per night, up to a weekly maximum of $100
- Pets must be crated when you are not in your suite
- Owners must provide an emergency contact number at check-in
- You are responsible for any damages, accidents or mishaps resulting from your pet's behavior
- You agree to take all reasonable precautions to ensure your pet does not disturb other guests
- You may be charged an additional fee should the hotel have to compensate another guest for disturbances originating from your room or occupants
- Our housekeeping team will not enter a suite to provide service if your pet is unrestrained or left alone in the suite
- Waste bags are provided free of charge for outdoor "business cleanup"
